| Abstract |
This publication is one of several issued to support implementation of section 208 of Public Law 92-500 concerning the control of water pollution from urban runoff and other associated nonpoint sources of pollution. This document was prepared for use by local agency administrators, and others who may be involved in programs to abate pollution from urban runoff. The concept of source control (BMP) has been discussed in the past, this report lists many techniques that would be included in a Best Management Practice. The problems associated with implementing these practices, legal, financial, and institutional are also discussed. |
