| Abstract |
The regulatory impact analysis was performed in conjunction with the development of EPA's proposed rule to require corrective action for releases from solid waste management units at hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities. The results of the RIA demonstrate that the proposed corrective action rule is a 'major' regulation. Pursuant to the Regulatory Flexibility Act, the Agency also assessed the impact of the proposed rule on small businesses and determined that the rule will not have a significant impact on a substantial number of such businesses. |
