Contents Notes
v. 1. Puget Sound management unit (including the Chilliwack River and associated tributaries flowing into British Columbia, Canada) -- v. 2. Olympic Peninsula management unit. The Puget Sound Management Unit is one of two management units comprising the Coastal-Puget Sound Distinct Population Segment of bull trout (Salvelinus confluentus). The overall recovery implementation strategy for the Coastal-Puget Sound Distinct Population Segment is to integrate with ongoing Tribal, State, local, and Federal management and partnership efforts at the watershed or regional scales. This coordination will maximize the opportunity for complementary actions, eliminate redundancy, and make the best use of available resources for bull trout and salmon recovery.
