Abstract |
The National Academy of Public Administration agreed to prepare this summary of the proceedings of the workshop sponsored by the Office of Water, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The workshop took place in Denver, Colorado on March 20 and 21, 1989. New requirements imposed by amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act and the Clean Water Act coupled with a prospective reduction of 50 percent in federal funds available to states to support their ongoing water quality management programs made it imperative to review financing options available to states. |
