Abstract
The study reports the results of measurements of Radiofrequency (RF) field intensities resulting from operation of Voice of America (VOA) facility as well as other RF broadcast sources in the McFarland area. In addition, numerical modeling of the VOA broadcast antennas was done to estimate the value of both the electric and magnetic fields near ground. The models were confirmed and used in the retrospective analysis to calculate RF exposures during past operations at VOA. Measurements were also made to determine the highest exposure along the perimeter of the VOA facility. Quality control checks were made on the variation over time of measured fields and the amplitude modulation of the fields was examined.
