Abstract
The procedure provides information on the model developed by the Office of Solid Waste to determine maximum acceptable concentrations for hazardous constituents in extracts of wastes. The ground-water screening procedure involves a back calculation from a point of potential exposure at a distance downgradient from a land disposal unit to a point of release from the unit using a fate and transport model.
