Abstract
This study was made to help the EPA evaluate the potential for environmental contamination by brominated biphenyls. The information collection and evaluation activities were designed to identify sources of brominated biphenyls and the environmental and health effects of these substances. The scope of the study included identification and evaluation of production sites and volumes, manufacturing processes and waste disposal practices, commercial uses and substitutes for products and environmental and health aspects.
