Abstract
A study plan, designed to define the usage of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and terphenyls (PCTs) in the investment casting industry, was developed under the subject task. Current knowledge was reviewed and used as input to the study plan development. Methods of information gathering and data sources, as required to define industry scope and technology, wastes, and substitution technology, were also determined.
