Abstract
One of the important conditions of successful growing of young pike perch in spawning-breeding hatcheries is provision of the necessary feed to the fish in the first stages of active feeding. Therefore, 'the presence of the appropriate food base in the initial period of active feeding, when the larvae still do not have the ability to change to another type of food, is particularly important' (Cherfas, 1956). The report describes methods to provide the larvae with the necessary food.
