Abstract
The document describes the fourth year of research by the Rice Research Program. Section 1 describes the overall framework and organization of the project. Section 2 summarizes modeling and regional analysis activities at ERL-C. Section 3 provides an overview of research by cooperators from Oregon State University. Section 4 describes the research being conducted by IRRI at Los Banos, and at other sites in Asia and the United States.
