Abstract
EPA issued a Record of Decision ('ROD') for operable unit 2 ('OU2') of the Industrial Land Superfund Site ('Site') on March 29, 1991. This Explanation of Significant Differences ('ESD') has been prepaed to provide the public with an explanation of the nature of the changes made to the selected remedy for the cleanup of contaminated ground water identified in the ROD for OU2, to summarize the information that led to the making of the changes, and to demonstrate that the revised remedy complies with the statutory requirements of Section 121 of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. section 9621.
