Abstract |
The Effluent Standards and Water Quality Information Advisory Committee and the Environmental Protection Agency undertook an extensive study effort throughout the summer of 1975 to develop a new approach for establishing Best Available Technology Economically Achievable (BATEA) under PL 92-500. This report presents an overview of the approach developed. The approach effectively establishes the technical and economic information needed as well as providing a systematic method for utilizing the data to assist in establishment of effluent limitations. |
