Abstract
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has completed its reregistration eligibility decision (RED) for the pesticide p-chloro-m-cresol, case 3046, which includes the active ingredient para-chloro-meta-cresol. The document presents the Agency's decision regarding the reregistration eligibility of the registered uses of p-chloro-m-cresol. Section I is the introduction. Section II describes p-chloro-m-cresol, its uses, data requirements and regulatory history. Section III discusses the human health and environmental assessment based on the data available to the Agency. Section IV presents the reregistration decision for p-chloro-m-cresol. Section V discusses the reregistration requirements for p-chloro-m-cresol. Finally, Section VI is the Appendices which support this Reregistration Elgibility Decision.
