Abstract
This Record of Decision (ROD) Amendment documents the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) selection of a modified remedy for the Renora, Inc. site. The initial ROD for the Renora site included the excavation and off-site disposal of soils contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls, (PCBs) and biodegradation of PAH-contaminated soils. The first phase of the remedy, involving the PCB-contaminated soils, has been completed. Therefore, the remedy will be modified to include the removal of surface soils contaminated with PAHs.
