Contents Notes | The SRI International Mark IX mobile lidar system and a monostatic fixed-site sodar unit were operated by SRI during the Sulfur Transport and Transformation in the Environment (STATE) program conducted to study effluent plumes associated with coal-burning power plants (Tennessee Plume Study). Observations were made from 2 August through 28 August 1978 in the region around the power plant that is located at Cumberland City, Tennessee. This report presents collected lidar and sodar data in pictorial format to facilitate application by EPA and STATE participants. The lidar data are also available in digital format on nine-track magnetic tapes. This report was submitted in partial fulfillment of Contract 68-02-2970 by SRI International under the sponsorship of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. |
