Abstract |
Knowledge of the mechanisms of TCDD action may facilitate the risk assessment process by imposing constraints upon the assumptions used to estimate an acceptable exposure to dioxin. The chapter reviews the current knowledge of dioxin action, with emphasis on the contribution of the Ah receptor to the mechanism. |
