| Abstract |
This Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) has addressed the Federal Action of the Provision of Federal Funds for Phase II wastewater facilities as proposed by the Draft 201 Facilities plan for Tallahassee-Leon County. The selected action for the Final EIS is that no further Federal grants be made for expansion of the wastewater system beyond that already approved under Phase I of the 201 Plan. The basis of this decision is the determination that the Phase I facilities already approved by EPA will serve all existing and some future needs, and that new growth in wastewater generation can be handled in an environmentally sound and cost effective manner by on-site and small community systems. |
