Abstract
This fact sheet summarizes the information in the RED document for reregistration case 3147, 1,3,5-triethylhexa hydro-s-triazine. 1,3,5-Triethylhexadro-s-triazine, or triethylhexahydrotriazine is an anitimicrobial used as industrial preservative treatment to control slime-forming bacteria and fungi in adhesives, fuels, oil storage tanks,metal-working cutting fluids, paints, slurries, rubber products, and industrial processing chemicals. Formulations include liquid soluble concentrates. Triethylhexahydrotriazine is added to industrial products using open pouring or metering pump methods.
