| Abstract | The report reviews the current public health aspects of the following diseases involving man and fowls: Bacterial: Salmonellosis, paracolon infections, erysipelas, staphylococcal infections, streptococcal infections, tuberculosis, brucellosis, listeriosis, tularemia, pasteurellosis, pseudotuberculosis, diphtheria, anthrax, botulism, and leptospirosis. Viral: Equine encephalomyelitis, Newcastle disease and ornithosispsittacosis. Fungal: Favus, thrush, aspergillosis, and histoplasmosis. Parasitic: Dermanyssus gallinae, toxoplasmosis. |
