| Abstract |
The report gives results of slurry and solids characterization studies of 167 samples from the TVA/Shawnee turbulent contact absorber and venturi-spray tower scrubbing systems. It summarizes the range of variability of solids and correlation of this variability with plant operating conditions. It gives regression models characterizing settled solids and bulk density as functions of calcium sulfite solids and solids recirculated. |
