Abstract
This letter is to inform you of the results of an eye irritation study in rabbits. The weight equivalent of 0.1 mL of the test substance was instilled into the lower conjunctiva sac of 2 albino rabbits. The pupil of the treated eye of both rabbits was constricted on the day of treatment. The pupil of the untreated eye of each rabbit was normal. The pupils were normal by 1 day after instillation. Under these experimental conditions, the finding described above would appear to be reportable, based on EPA guidance regarding the report ability of such data under TSCA Section 8(e) criteria.
