Abstract
This document has been produced in compliance with Section 110(h) of the Clean Air Act, as amended in 1977, which mandates periodic publication of State Implementation Plan (SIP) requirements. The first section of the document comprises the Federally approved SIP regulations. It consists of the EPA-approved State and/or local air pollution control regulations cited by reference in the Federal Register; regulations promulgated as of August 1, 1981 have been included in this document. The present compilation constitutes an update of a previous documentation of regulations as of July 1, 1979. State and/or local air quality regulations which have not been Federally approved as of August 1, 1981, are not included. However, any omissions of regulations from this document in no way affects the ability of the respective Federal, State, or local agencies to enforce such regulations. A summary sheet of the regulatory revisions is provided to give a quick historical assessment of the changes. The second part of the document contains the text of non-regulatory SIP revisions approved by EPA up to August 1, 1981, excluding notices or certifications of public hearings and technical support data. A complete tabulation of these revisions is also provided.
