| Abstract |
The objective of the project is to design and construct additional wastewater treatment facilities for the City of Boulder. These facilities have been proposed so that water quality in Boulder Creek will meet the goals established by the Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972 (Public Law 92-500) and the more restrictive State of Colorado water quality classifications. The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) identifies alternatives for providing Boulder with improved wastewater facilities designed to meet the needs of its residents and to maintain and improve environmental quality. |
