Abstract
This Record of Decision (ROD) documents the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) selection of a remedy for the Mercury Refining Site (Site), which is chosen in accordance with the requirements of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980, as amended (CERCLA), 42 U.S.C. Section 9601-9675, and the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP), 40 C.F.R. Part 300. This decision document explains the factual and legal basis for selecting the remedy for the Site. The information supporting this remedial action decision is contained in the Administrative Record.
