| Abstract |
National emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) were promulgated for the pulp and paper industry under authority of Section 112(d) of the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990. This document provides plain English descriptions of the pulping and bleaching processes, the requirements of the NESHAP (Subpart S), the scope of effluent limitations guidelines and standards and additional references and sources of information about pulp and paper mills. |
