Abstract
This report outlines the methodology that was used in developing an hourly fugitive dust emissions inventory for the Metropolitan St. Louis Air Quality Control Region as part of the Regional Air Pollution Study (RAPS). The inventory encompassed the following source categories: (a) unpaved roads, (b) agricultural land tilling, (c) wind erosion of agricultural land, (d) construction sites, (e) aggregate storage piles, and (f) unpaved airstrips. Results presented in this report include temporal apportioning factors, county totals of annual source extent and annual emissions for each source category.
