| Abstract | The report was primarily prepared to describe a limited study about toxic chemicals in the Valley undertaken by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in cooperation with three West Virginia environmental agencies - the Air Pollution Control Commission, Department of Health, and Department of Natural Resources. The report also contains summary information concerning the area's environmental compliance with current environmental laws, and includes, in Appendix A, a brief description of some other ongoing activities concerning Kanawha Valley environmental issues. |
