A comprehensive overview is provided of the three principal components contained in the process of air pollution: Meteorological processes; Atmospheric chemistry and transformation processes; and The emissions sources. The specific research tasks to be carried out are defined. The contents include: Overview of air pollution modeling; Meteorological processes; Atmospheric chemistry and transformation processes; Emission estimates; Economic and social impact studies; and Technology transfer.
