Abstract |
There is a feeling of concern in the City of Portland as to the general status of the atmospheric resources of the City and what, if any, additional action is warranted on the part of the City Government with regard to this important part of the public domain. This feeling was evidenced by a request by the Health Officer of the City, endorsed by the State Health Officer, that the public Health Service provide technical advice to enable Portland to coordinate present activities and to develop a logical plan for air pollution control. The report discusses this survey. |
