Abstract
The proceedings document the major presentations at the Third Workshop on Catalytic Combustion, in Asheville, North Carolina, October 3-4, 1978. Sponsored by the Combustion Research Branch of EPA's Industrial Environmental Research Laboratory--Research Triangle Park, the workshop served as a forum for the presentation of results of recent research in the areas of catalyst and catalytic combustion system development. The workshop provided industrial, university, and government representatives with the current state-of-the-art in the application of catalyst systems for pollution control and performance improvement. Applications include firetube and watertube boilers and gas turbines for utility, industrial, automotive, and aircraft systems.
