Abstract
The report gives results of a program: (1) to perform studies supercritical (fluid) carbon dioxide (SCF CO2) regeneration of adsorbents, using samples of industrial wastewaters from manufacturing pesticides and synthetic solutions; and (2) to estimate the economics of the specific wastewater treatment regenerations, based on test data. Processing costs for regenerating granular activated carbon GAC) for treating industrial wastewaters depend on stream properties and regeneration throughput.
