| Abstract |
This manual is an in-depth presentation of the steps required to design and operate a water treatment plant for the removal of excess fluoride using the activated alumina method. A description of the basic technology of fluoride removal by activated alumina is included in addition to design examples and capital, operation and maintenance costs associated with major cost variables. |
