Abstract
The user's guide provides users of the BIOSCREEN model with background information on the relative importance of different electron acceptors in the natural attenuation of fuel hydrocarbons, the preferred reactions as controlled by energy potential, the distribution of electron acceptors at sites, and the kinetics of aerobic and anaerobic reactions. It supplies guidance in providing input to the model for (1) Hydrogeologic Data, (2) Dispersivity, (3) Adsorption Data, (4) Biodegradation Data, (5) General Data, (6) Source Data, and (7) Field Data for Comparison. It provides guidance on analyzing BIOSCREEN output, and provides troubleshooting tips.
