Abstract
The Pretreatment of CERCLA Liquid Wastes IRA is being conducted as part of the IRA Process for RMA in accordance with the June 5, 1987, report to the court in United States versus Shell Oil Co., the proposed Modified Consent Decree dated June 7, 1988, and the Federal Facility Agreement dated February 17, 1989. The Decision Document addresses only Element One: Management options for disposal and/or treatment of hazardous waste that has been or will be placed in storage areas at RMA, and which have not been addressed in another IRA. Waste streams include: RI/FS wastes; IRA wastes; miscellaneous waste from vehicle, grounds, and building maintenance; and items found on post each of which may contain hazardous waste properties.
