Groups of 10 male Crl:CD(reg) rats, 7-8 weeks old and weighing 238 to 275 8, were exposed to atmospheres containing carbonyl sulfide for single 4-hr. periods. Prior to and post-exposure, rata were housed in suspended stainless steel, uire-mesh cages. Purina certified Rodent Chows No. 5002 and water were supplied ad libitum. During exposure, all rats were observed and clinical signs note . Following exposure, rats were weighed and observed daily (excluding weekends) for a 14-day recovery period.
