Abstract |
Emission factors for diesel powered heavy-duty trucks have been traditionally developed from engineering analysis as little actual data was available. Recently, the EPA has undertaken the testing of in-use heavy duty diesel trucks on the newly developed 'chassis dynanometer' transient cycle to determine their emissions. These test results from in-use trucks are the only publicly available source of data on in-use emission on the transient cycle, and therefore of interest in verifying emission factor data previously developed by EPA. |
