Abstract

This document contains materials suitable for use in training police officers to enforce noise control laws. It consists of two courses, one to train officers in enforcing their own specific laws and the second is designed to train instructors at police academies and similar institutions, in conducting the first course. The materials for these courses were culled from a wide selection of laws and regulations enforced, of the procedures followed in their enforcement, of the data and records kept and problems that occurred.
