| Abstract |
Selected portions of test cores from the overburden of the West Moorhead coal deposit in southeastern Montana were examined for possible addition to leach water of toxic substances and for the presence of iron and sulfur bacteria which might contribute to leaching. Leachates were evaluated by measuring pH, lead, and the effect of the leachates on the Selenastrum algal assay. |
