| Abstract |
This document contains the transmittal memorandum and charter establishing the Environmental Protection Agency's Mine Waste Policy Dialogue Committee, the list of participants, summaries of the meetings, the EPA memorandum concerning procedural approaches to develop a template and conduct state reviews, and the Policy Dialogue Committee White Paper. The Policy Dialogue Committee provided a forum to refine and further develop issues related to managing mining waste and facilitate the exchange of ideas and information among interested parties. Issues were defined and differing positions, as well as the reasons for those differences, were identified. |
