| Abstract |
The Mississippi River/Gulf of Mexico Watershed Nutrient Task Force was established in the fall of 1997 as part of the government's plan to address hypoxia in the Gulf of Mexico. Objectives of this meeting were: 1. To review the first draft of the Science Advisory Board (SAB) report, which was recently released, and agree on an appropriate response from the Task Force. 2. Discuss whether the Task Force should develop resolutions on specific topics. 3. Receive comments of members of the public on the reassessment progress and schedule. |
