Abstract
Feasible and economical methodologies were needed to remove existing organic contaminants--specifically, four trihalomethanes (chloroform, bromodichloromethane, chlorodibromomethane, and bromoform)--from and prevent development of potential carcinogens in the public water supplies in Dade County, Florida.
