Abstract
This report describes a statistical analysis of ozone concentrations in southern Louisiana. The data which have been used were collected at nine monitoring sites during a three-month period, July 17 - October 17, in 1976. The objective of the study was to investigate the factors which accompany high levels of ozone concentration and to explain the observed relationships to as great an extent as possible. This was done to gain a better understanding of the variables which influence the amount of ozone. The relationships between ozone concentration and a number of meteorological and spatial variables have been explored. The relationships between ozone concentration and the concentrations of other pollutants are also discussed briefly.
