Abstract
This is a final Environmetal Impact Statement (EIS) for proposed construction of facilities to provide water supply, wastewater treatment and agriculture reuse of sewage effluent for the City of Northglenn, Colorado. Under an exchange agreement with the Farmers Reservoir and Irrigation Company, approximately 5,000 acre-feet annually will be diverted for Northglenn's municipal use, treated, augmented from other sources, stored, and then returned for irrigation purposes. The recommended action is to construct an 8 mile interceptor, aerated lagoon and a storage reservoir. Implementation of the exchange program negates the pending water condemnation actions that are in progress.
