Abstract
This volume (1) discusses models which identify source contributions to receptor concentrations, their input data, the assumptions on which they are based, and the effects of typical deviations from those assumptions; (2) identifies measurements which these models require, their availability, the additional assumptions imposed by these measurements, and the effect of their precision and accuracy on modeling results; and (3) presents approaches, pertaining to three levels of analysis detail, for the optimum combinations of models and measurements in practical situations, and illustrates these protocols with case studies.
