Abstract
The manual is a technical guide on one method for providing data on the quality of Leachate from Solid Waste. It describes a Batch Leaching procedure for use in the laboratory with various kinds of waste to predict the composition of Leachate from that waste under field conditions. Methods, equipment, and sources of error are discussed along with suggestions for interpreting the data. The method has not been verified by comparison with field data on leachate composition.
