Abstract |
With the passage of Superfund legislation providing for the clean-up of environmental hazards at uncontrolled waste disposal sites, information is needed on types of remedial actions that have been implemented to date, as well as their effectiveness and cost. This report provides this information by presenting the results of the nationwide survey of 169 such remedial action sites. More specific information on nine of these sites is provided in the form of detailed case studies, also contained in this material. |
