This series of six reports present the results of a wetland vegetation analysis conducted with historical aerial photographs of study areas in Colorado. Black and white and color infrared aerial photographs were used to identify wetland vegetation losses due to residential, commercial, and industrial construction. For purposes of this project, entitled the Colorado Wetland Vegetation Survey, wetland vegetation is defined as naturally occurring, hydrophytic vegetation found near water sources such as rivers, streams, springs, or other wet situations, and on adjacent lands that historically have been irrigated and used as pasture.
