Abstract |
This standard operating procedure (SOP) describes a new, rapid, and relatively inexpensive one-step procedure that grinds the paint samples removed from the substrate and simultaneously quantitatively extracts the lead from the paint in only one step in preparation for quantitative analysis. This method has been applied successfully in the laboratory and is expected to perform as well in the field. It is a general use SOP and intended to be used by trained nontechnical workers. |
