Abstract
PTPLU (from PoinT PLUme) is an improved model for estimating the location of the maximum short term concentration from a single point source as a function of stability and wind speed. The algorithm is similar to PTMAX which was first released in May 1973. Among the improvements of this version are options for the estimation of gradual plume rise, stack downwash, and buoyancy-induced dispersion. This document describes the input, processing, and output of both the batch and interactive versions of the program.
