Abstract
1990 NAPAP Integrated Assessment (IA) will address the current status of surface waters in regions potentially susceptible to acidic deposition, evaluate historical changes that might have occurred in these aquatic systems and forecast future changes that might occur in these systems under current and alternative deposition scenarios. Mathematical models will be used to project future changes surface water chemistry and fisheries responses under current and alternative levels of acidic deposition. The mathematical models include steady-state; empirical time-varying models and dynamic watershed models. Output from the chemistry models will be linked with empirical fisheries models to forecast potential changes in fish responses in these systems.
